CHIEF OLUSOLA OKE

[1] CHIEF OLUSOLA OKE: This Ilowo-Ugbo Kingdom born has made history as the most politically inclined Ilaje man with a high profiled street credibility. Oke is one of Ilaje that has taken a shot at the governorship of Ondo State twice on different political platform. He contested on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in 2012 and return that same stunt in 2016 on the ticket of the Alliance for Democracy, AD party. Among the rich political resume this vibrant lawyer is his election into the House of Representatives, Member, Representing Ondo State on the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC and he also served as the National Legal Adviser of the PDP.

CHIEF OLUSOLA EBISENI

[2] CHIEF OLUSOLA NEHEMIA EBISENI [O-N-E]: He is one of the most constant factor in Ilaje Politics with an unrivalled smashing record having held several political positions an delivered. He is in fact the most tested and trusted Ilaje politician of repute who has twice aspired to be the governor of Ondo State twice. In 2016 he aspired as one of the PDP guber aspirants and he also made a strong impact in 2007 when he contested as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Democratic People’s Alliance, DPA flexing his muscle against two most formidable titan in the state Dr.Segun Agagu of PDP and Dr.Olusegun Mimiko of LP. This articulate Legal luminary has cascade the political landscape retuning to power than any other Ilajes and he was a member of the National Constitutional Conference in 2014.Ebiseni was born over 50years ago at Motoro in Aheri  Kingdom, entered  into Ilaje politics emerging as Ilaje Local Government Chairman and he has from there build a very strong reputation for himself. Ebiseni later becomes the first Commissioner for Environment in Ondo State under Gov.Adebayo Adefarati. And he returned to that mainstream of Ondo State Politics as he was appointed by Gov.Mimiko as Chairman of the Law Commission and later returned as the Commissioner of Environment.

HON.OLA JOHN MAFO

[3] HON OLA JOHN MAFO: He is the third most politically relevant Ilaje whose last political achievement was flying the Deputy Governorship Ticket of the PDP in the 2016 poll. This Zion-Pepe of Aheri Kingdom born sport loving personae has also held several positions as two times  Commissioner for Information and also as that of Sports and Youth Development in quick succession under Gov.Agagu.This prolific writer with several books to his credit was onetime Ilaje Local Government Chairman and he was the Head of the Ondo State Liaison Office Abuja.

[4] HON.KOLADE VICTOR AKINJO: This is Aheri-Ilaje born political activist remains the most dedicated politician with a caring heart who currently is on his 2^nd Term at the National Assembly representing the Ilaje/EseOdo Federal Constituency. Akinjo who was formerly a national hero of the Nigerian Student Union struggle went straight to politics when he was appointed to serve the then Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as a Special Assistant, SA and Senior Special Assistant, SSA respectively. Akinjo popularly called Vacama in his student union days delivered beyond expectation on all his electioneering promises more than his predecessors in that office.

GBENGA EDEMA: This Human Rights Lawyer turned grassroots politician hails from Ward 2 in Mahin Kingdom is the current Chairman Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission OSOPADEC, formerly a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, ODHA. Edema once served as a SA to Chief Olusola Oke as Ondo State Commissioner at  NDDC.He was a SDP Delegate during the Jos National Convention in 1993 that produced Bashorun MKO Abiola. And within his short stay in office as OSOPADEC Chairman he has breathe life back into the once dormant intervention agency as a lot of significant changes is being noticed now.

 HON.LUCKY AYEDATIWA,NDDC COMMISSIONER 

[6]HON.LUCKY AYEDATIWA: This is another Ilaje political guru and a successful business man who joined politica and make a big mark. Ayedatiwa is the current Commissioner representing Ondo State on the NDDC Board hails from Ward 4 in Ugbo Kingdom. He joined the progressive political family as he declared for the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN in 2012 and in 2015 he contested for the position of House of Representatives on APC Platform but lost Hon Akinjo but yet he kept faith and hope alive performing his goodwill to his people.

PRINCE BIYI BILL POROYE 

[7] PRINCE BIYI BILL POROYE: The Mahin Ward 4 born Prince is the Authentic State Chairman of the PDP Sheriff Group that produced the Barr.Jimoh Ibrahim’s Guber Candidature during the last November,26^th 2016 governorship electin.Poroye is a Worldclass Environmentalist turned politician remains one of the most committed NigerDelta Youth with unlimited good intention for his people. An avowed democrats who started out in politics as an aide of Chief Olusola Oke but later got appointed as a Commissioner at the Ondo State Electoral Commission from where he horned his electoral strategic skill.While the PDP party became dis-organised after Gov.Agagu govt. was sacked by Appeal Court on February 23rd,2009 it was Poroye who led some democratic minded youth to form the G18 an initiative that later breath life into the party even beyond Ondo State but across the South West.His astronomical rise to prominence create a lots of ripples with the ranks of the PDP as some recalcitrant PDP Leaders resisted his aspirations for the NNDC Commissionership and the ODHA Slots.

BARR.BENSON ENIKUOMEHIN

[8] BARR.BENSON ENIKUOMEHIN: This strategic politician who hail from Ilaje Ward 4 in Ugbo Kingdom, Presently the SSA to the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Oil and Gas Matters was formerly an SA to Governor Olusegun Agagagu.Eniku has always been an active politician with bold faculty who was a former Commissioner representing Ondo State on the NDDC Board during Dr Olusegun Mimiko regime. He is one of the most radical politician in Ondo State who knows when to jump boat dumped Gov.Mimiko and the PDP Party to become the APC returning officer during the last guber poll.

 HON. OTITO THOMPSON ATIKASE

THOMPSON OTITO ATIKASE: This Igbokoda born former Student  Union Activists turned grassroots politician was a member of Ondo State House of Assembly [ODHA] representing Ilaje Constituency 02 but lost his seat through damning court ruling orchestrated by the Gov.Mimiko’s LP.Otito has remained the most active Ilaje Youth in Ondo State  politics in 2016 he was  appointed as SSA to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Political Matters. He eventually dumped Gov.Mimiko and joined the Aketi Team that Midwife APC into government as his decamping was the headlines of some National Dailies. He equally added to the fortune of the APC party in the Southern Senatorial Districts.

[10] Rt.HON.MALACHI ADENIYI COKER: This young politician made history as the first Ilaje man to ever becomes the Speaker of the ODHA who is representing Ilaje Constituency 02. Coker hails from Aheri Etikan was elected into the Assembly in June 2015 on the platform of the PDP but cross-carpet to APC.He once a PA to Chief Olusola Oke during his PDP Governorship race in 2012.

[11] PRINCE ABAYOMI AKINRUTAN [ABA]: Hon Abayomi Akinruntan, the Crown Prince and the heir apparent of the Oba F.E Akinruntan dynasty, the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom. Hon.Yomi Akinrutan is currently a member ODHA representing Ilaje Constituency 01 and he is the founder and visioner of ABA FOUNDATION, a philanthropic and humanitarian platform he has been using to empower his people. He is the determined, un-assuming politician easy going and very stable minded who has twice taken shot on the Ilaje/Ese-Odo House of Reps slot.Despite all the opulence and the ostentatious associated with his political office this Silver-Spoon debonair and cosmopolitan socialist has remain dogged and a strong advocate for the transformation of the riverine communities of Ondo State.

[12] HON.FAYOWOLE AWORETAN: This young vibrant politician hails from Ilepete, Ilaje Ward3 in Ugbo Kingdom is the current Caretaker Chairman  of Ilaje Local Government, Despite the paucity of funds caused by the global recession and in less than 100 days of his appointment into office Aworetan is a Computer Scientist has been meticulous and very creative in dispensing the meagre resources and this has translated into the transformation being witnessed across the entire Ilaje land. He has proved many doubting Thomasses wrong about his competence, capabilities and courage as the youngest Caretaker Chairman saddled with the responsibility of overseeing a very volatile and complex LG like Ilaje.

[13] HON.TUNDE AKINDEHIN: This  Ilaje politician from Ward 3 in Mahin Kingdom, formerly Ilaje PDP Leader and National Delegate and member of the Kaduna State Guber Screening Committee that delivered Gov.Nnamadi Sambo. Akindehin later become a close ally of Sambo as the Vice President and that of Gov. Olusegun Agagu. He was the last  Chairman of the board of the Federal Medical Center, FMC, Owo during President Goodluck Jonathan regime.

[14] HON.DEBO AJIMUDA: This Ilaje political icon hails from Idiogba Ward 2 in Ugbo Kingdom was one of those saddled with strategic responsibility by Gov. Olusegun Mimiko who appointed him to oversee OSOPADEC as Chairman.And he has always used his past political positions to reach out generously to people of his Local Government as well as those outside his domain. Ajimuda former Chairman Ilaje Local Government, during Governor Adebayo Adefarati regime and he was also appointed as member of the National Electricity board before he joined the LP Party.He was the Southern Senatorial Chairman of the PDP Markafi Faction in Ondo State.

 PASTOR RAWA FELIX AJAYE 

[15] PASTOR RAWA FELIX:  This is one of the shining light and the most dedicated Ilaje role model as a politician and a Spiritual leader who has remain constituency within the Ondo State Progressive clan. Rawa is one of the most heaviest investor and funder of the Ondo State Progressive Political Project since 2002.This Ugbo man that hails from Obe-Ilaje Ward 4 is a democrat with unshakeable mind.He is one of the most  reliable leader with a track record of many success written after his name having contested from the AC, ACN up till the present APC Party and still remain committed.

[16] PRINCE BAYO OMOTOYE [MARSHAL]:He is one of the most committed Ilaje politician with progressive ideology from theObe-Arenegho Ugbo Kingdom who had worked assiduously for the socio-political development of his people.Among his kinsmen, Marshal is known to be a very generous person that has also used his goodwill to better the lot of many of his kinsmen. He was the first Ondo State LP Party Secretary, he contested the Ilaje/EseOdo Federal Constituency slot in 2007 but lost to Hon Agboola Ajayi who is presently the Deputy Governor. He was pacified with a statutory appointment towards the twilight of the Gov.Mimiko’s administration as a Commissioner in Local Government Service Commission till date.

[17] HON BANJI OKUNOMO: This Ilaje born political activists from Etikan was formerly a Caretaker Chairman of Ilaje Local Government under the in Labour Party LP but later became Publicity Secretary to Markafi led Group in Ondo State PDP and he played a formidable role during the last Governorship Election in Ondo State through his passionate displayed of his oratory prowess.

[18] COMRADE SOJI AYENURO: Without much emphasize this young man almost dusted all the achievement of most old politicians in his domain through his humanitarian consideration to the masses without discrimination. He is an  Ilaje born politician  from Mahin Kingdom Ward 1, was former this and that from being the Labour Party[LP] Chairman in Ilaje, and later to become the Caretaker Chairman Ilaje Local Government but still remained active in Ilaje politics.

[19] HON.NIMBE TAOSE: This is another very consistent Ilaje  grassroot politician that have worked assiduously for the betterment of  his party   from ACN to APC hails from Ilu-Meje Gbegunrin, Mahin Kingdom Ward 4.Taose has served his people once as a  Supervising Councillor for Health and also  a former Vice Chairman of Ilaje Local Government. He was a former member of the Ondo State Pension Board.

[20] COMRADE OLUWOLE BABALOLA MONEHIN[OBESERE]:This radical student union activist turned political activist has his name written in gold for his courageous political exploits.Obesere was appointed as SSA to Gov.Mimiko on Youth Mobilisation and he has led a lot of political movements and has been at the vanguard of championing various initiatives to change Ondo State politics.He became a political hero in Ondo State for risking his life during the era of the 2012 gubernatorial struggle leading the dreaded Anti-Mimiko 2^nd Term Democratic Group known as the Sunshine Liberation Forum,SLF. He is known for his past and present courageous exploits as an unrepentant apostle of equity, justice and good governance. 

 

[21] HON.ALADETAN OYEBO [OSOSA]: This is Ilaje most colourful politician with very strong erudition who was a two term member of the ODHA between 2007-2015 representing Ilaje Const. 01. He hails from Ilowo-Ugbo Kingdom and he is leader of the LP in Ilaje land.

[22] HON.KUNLE ODIDI: He belong to the revolutionary political group in Ondo State who fought tenaciously to reclaimed his Ilaje  Const.02 Assembly stolen mandate for three years from another Ilaje kinsmen. Odidi a former lawmaker returned to the political trenches in 2011 to lead the SLF Political Struggle against Gov,Mimiko’s 2^nd Term.He later emerged as the State Factional Chairman of the Break-away LP Party.

[23] HON.OBAPOLO JEPHTER: This Ilaje politician has a national recognition as a very credible and reliable personae even beyond the shores of his community hails from Ugbo Ward 4. Jephter who stand out as one of the most courageous and generous politician had  in the past served as a Supervising Councilor and Leader in the House and also to his credit was appointed as Caretaker Chairman in Ilaje Local Government under the Gov. Mimiko led LP Party and he has remained in PDP. 

            

[24] BARR.IDOWU MAFIMISEBI: This Ilaje Ugbo Kingdom Prince with a lot of surprises in his sleeve started out as a lawyer later embarked on a political expeditions within the PDP political platform where he twice aspired for both the ODHA and the Federal House of Representative slots in 2006 and 2015 respectively. Mafimisebi is by all standard has a successful Law Practices but his humanitarian consideration took him to politicking and he has become a leader to be reckon with in his Ode-Ugbe Ward.

[22] HON.ARIBO EMMANUEL ORIMISAN: He is one of the most vibrant young politician with very amiable temperament. Aribo an entrepreneur turned politician hails from Ilepete-Ilaje Ward3 in Ugbo kingdom once served as a Councilor in Ilaje Local Government during Gov.Mimiko administration. He has since returned to his business and he is today running one of the biggest and the heaviest stocked health-wellness conglomerate that promotes, distributes and market Alliance In Motion Global Brands.

 

[23] HON.BAYO SEGEDE: This Ilowo-Ugbo Ward 3 born politician has an undisputed record as Ilaje most dependable grassroots activists who was appointed as a Special Assistant [SA] to the Gov. Mimiko but attached to Chairman OSOPADEC, Chief Debo Ajumuda.He was among the last batch of politicians that embarked on a voyage from the PDP to the APC fold.

[24] HON.OLUMIDE IKUEPENIKAN: He an Ilaje politician from Ward 5 of  Ugbo kingdom is the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress [APC] in Ilaje Local government and presently OSOPADEC  a Commissioner, a man of his words that is passionate about the progress of his people. 

[25] HON.BISI ILAWOLE: This is Ilaje most strategic politician who hails  from Idiogba Ward 2 in Ugbo Kingdom was once a Supervisory  Councilor during Gov.Agagun regime but presently on appointment by Gov.Akeredolu as a full time Commissioner on OSOPADEC Board.

[26] HON.TUNDE AYEMO: This Ilaje-born politician  hails from Aheri Etikan is an amiable leader who started his political life as Supervisory  Councilor  in Ilaje Ese Odo Local Government was  also former member Ondo State House of Assembly, ODHA when he represent Ilaje Constituency 02 during Agagu era. Till date Ayemo, a highly connected player has grown to become an oak in Ilaje politics.

[27] HON.ADETOLA ALABERE: One of the political guru who hails from Ilaje Ward 2 in Ugbo Kingdom was a former Chairman Ilaje Local Government, during Gov. Adebayo Adefarati regime and had since remain very committed to the progressive politics in Ilajeland.

[28] CHIEF WALE OMOJUWA:Is another very respectful Ilowo-Ugbo Kingdom  politician known for his humanitarian consideration to the masses.Omojuwa has served Ilaje in different capacities as OSOPADEC Chairman, a Commissioner on the OSOPADEC Board and he also aspired for the House Reps and for the deputy governorship slot of the ACN and the APC respectively. Omojuwa worked assiduously for the entrenchment of the progressive ideology among his kinsmen. He is today enjoying a very strong goodwill and popularity among his people for his dedication towards the development of Ilajeland.

 [29] SAMUEL OGUNMUSI: He is currently the most favoured Ilaje Youth having gotten appointed as the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Gov., Hon.Agboola Ajayi. Sam is a renowned Political Reporter with the Premier Daily Newspaper in Ondo State, the Sunshine Daily Watch, SDW from where he oiled his political structure.He used to be one of the most active PDP youth during Agagu’s regime and he was neck deep in Youth Movements across the riverrine communities.

[30] SUNDAY MENUKURO [JOURNALIST]: This facebook warlord hails from Ward 4-Mahin Kingdom and he has used his social media prowess to promote Ilaje politics.Menukuro the Honourable Fisherman   was appointed as one of Gov.Mimiko’s SA and he has remain steadfast and committed to the political struggle and development of Ilajeland.
